About The Position

Snapology of Lancaster is seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Part-Time Program Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on programs that inspire children to build, create, collaborate, and solve problems. This role is ideal for college students, education majors, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, homeschool parents, retirees, or anyone seeking meaningful part-time work with a consistent weekly schedule. The position offers a chance to make a positive impact while having fun.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a group or structured setting (teaching certification not required)
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
Ability to confidently lead activities after completing training
Availability for four afternoons/evenings each week
Reliable transportation to the Snapology center and local partner locations
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Ability to successfully complete federal, state, and child abuse background checks
Dependable, organized, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Teach fun, hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment classes using Snapology's provided curriculum, LEGO® Bricks, robotics, and other interactive learning tools.
Create a positive, inclusive environment where children build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.
Lead after-school programs at the Snapology center and local schools, adapting instruction to engage children ages 4–14.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and school partners.
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment.
Set up program materials before classes and clean up afterward.
