About The Position
Join INTEGRIS Health as a full-time, day-shift Dialysis Technician in the Hemodialysis Unit at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Stock supplies, perform inventory, and order supplies to maintain appropriate par levels.
- Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and equipment.
- Observe patients; monitor and record treatment parameters, patient weight, and vital signs; and report changes to the RN.
- Assess patients’ transportation needs to and from dialysis, including use of a lift, Pal, or wheelchair.
- Perform order entry, fingerstick blood sugars, and ISTATS as directed.
