About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is expanding its clinical services into skilled nursing facilities through DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD). This role provides ongoing dialysis care to patients at the Augustine Manor-Hilliard (St Augustine Health Campus) site in Cleveland, Ohio, with possible support at additional nearby sites based on business needs. The service operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; scheduled days may vary according to market needs. The posting identifies the position as part time and gives hours of 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no call. The nurse is responsible for the complete ongoing care of each patient and helps keep dialysis treatment on track. Dialysis RNs work in conjunction with PCTs. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis, measuring and recording statistics, making patient observations, and setting up hemodialysis machines. The work is complex and requires multitasking, critical thinking, and attention to clinical outcomes while caring for high-acuity patients, including patients with vents or tracheostomies. DaVita describes DSD as a growing service line in a start-up-type environment. Teammates are expected to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional resources. DaVita provides new dialysis teammates with paid classroom and hands-on training and describes opportunities for ongoing nursing development and career growth.
