About The Position

Dialyze Direct seeks a Dialysis Registered Nurse focused on providing high-quality care and outcomes through gentler, more frequent dialysis care. The role calls for independent judgment, quick critical thinking, and the ability to work with little oversight while providing nursing care, training, and home support as needed. The nurse works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives, and dedicated nephrologists.

This is a full-time, fixed Monday–Friday day-shift position with no weekends and no on-call responsibilities. Occasional travel to nearby locations is required. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• BS, associate degree, or diploma in nursing.
• Three months of hemodialysis experience.
• In Texas, six months of hemodialysis experience within the last 24 months.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of RN experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, training, and home support as needed, functioning at a high level with little oversight.
• Collaborate with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives, and dedicated nephrologists.
• Collect and record relevant patient health data before, during, and after hemodialysis treatment.
• Develop and maintain plans of care that describe interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement and document interventions to attain expected outcomes in the EMR.
• Perform laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures, and reschedule missed or inadequate laboratory collections.
• Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care, including filing, inventory management, admission documentation, and creating patient charts.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward patients and colleagues.
• Travel occasionally to other nearby locations.
• Administer and document medications.
