Dialysis Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

About The Position
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease. You will provide safe, comfortable, high-quality dialysis treatment, contribute to interdisciplinary patient assessment and care planning, support center staffing requirements, and follow applicable company policies and regulations. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the applicable state.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of current nursing experience.
- Previous dialysis nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comfortable, high-quality dialysis treatment directly to patients.
- Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments and monitor patients during treatment.
- Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Participate in required patient assessment and care-planning activities as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state staffing-ratio regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
- Participate in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
- Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
