About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease. You will provide safe, comfortable, high-quality dialysis treatment and contribute to patient assessment, care planning, safety, and quality activities. The position requires a current nursing license in the applicable state and the ability to distinguish all primary colors. One or more years of current nursing experience and previous dialysis nursing experience are preferred. The stated pay range is USD $43.46–$65.19 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment directly to patients.
Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments, and monitor patients during treatment.
Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications according to physician orders.
Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in required patient assessment and care planning activities.
Ensure center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state staffing-ratio regulations.
Follow company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
Participate in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
