About The Position

A dialysis center in the Nashville, Tennessee area is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient care team. Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or an active multistate/compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.

Nice To Haves

• Dialysis/nephrology nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• New-to-dialysis RNs with strong acute care backgrounds may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment, identifying and responding promptly to complications.
• Assess vascular access sites and manage catheter, fistula, or graft care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, dietary considerations, and self-care between sessions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with the broader nephrology team.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols.
