About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral member of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in caring for patients living with kidney disease. You will provide safe, comfortable, high-quality dialysis treatment, complete and document patient assessments, monitor patients during treatment, review medication profiles, and administer medications according to physician orders. You will participate in interdisciplinary patient assessment and care planning, help ensure center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state staffing regulations, follow company policies and applicable laws and regulations, and attend required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.

Requirements

Current nursing license in the applicable state.
Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of current nursing experience.
Previous dialysis nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients.
Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments.
Monitor patients during treatment.
Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles.
Administer medications according to physician orders.
Participate in interdisciplinary patient assessment and care planning activities.
Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
Help ensure center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator and according to state staffing regulations.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
Participate in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
