Requirements

Associate's degree in either sonography or radiologic technology.
ARDMS or ARRT (S) or ARRT (R) + MRT
Must obtain ARDMS within 1 year of employment.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the ultrasound department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Managing patient scheduling, call rotation, staffing assignments, and vacation planning to maintain consistent workflow coverage and meet departmental demand.
Ensuring all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, functioning, and documented according to regulatory and departmental standards.
Supporting technologists during ultrasound procedures.
Assisting in ensuring that supplies, protocols, and procedural documentation are accurate, up to date, and aligned with best practices.
Serving as a liaison between staff, physicians, and Diagnostic Imaging leadership to promote strong communication, service excellence, and a positive team culture.
Providing day-to-day guidance to the ultrasound team, supporting performance expectations, and helping maintain compliance with safety, quality, and patient-experience standards within BSA Health System.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Diagnostic Imaging leadership to support departmental and organizational goals.
