About The Position
Temco Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner for a large home improvement retailer and is seeking dependable, reliable candidates who can work independently in a physical role. Delivery Drivers operate a 26-foot box truck to transport large and bulky items. A CDL is not required, and paid training is provided. The role is based at DFS Elk Grove in Elk Grove, Illinois, and involves travel between multiple sites.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 7 years.
- Ability to operate a 26-foot box truck.
- At least 2 years of recent, verifiable box truck driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
- Team-player attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical exams.

Responsibilities
- Drive to local home improvement stores to load the truck, then deliver packages safely and on time in all weather conditions.
- Work approximately 8–10 hours per day.
- Complete 15–20 deliveries per day.
- Use a company-provided handheld device to manage and confirm deliveries.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and local store associates.
