About The Position

The Device Repacker repackages bulk devices into smaller pack sizes according to work orders. The role follows written procedures for gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation, and work order execution, while ensuring accurate documentation. It also involves retrieving products and components, validating work orders and labels, accurately weighing devices, operating an ERP system, and maintaining production areas and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate-level numerical and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently during an 8-hour day.
• Ability to push, slide, and pull pallets weighing up to 400 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions for gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation, and work orders, and accurately document data.
• Retrieve products and components for the next scheduled assignment.
• Validate work orders and labels, verify that documents and components are accurate and identical, and perform scale calibration.
• Weigh devices accurately and repackage them at a rate comparable to established standards and expectations.
• Use the ERP system to backflush work orders, report data, and run reports as needed.
• Maintain and clean the production area, equipment, and utensils.
• Document all packaging and raw materials consumed during repackaging on the work order.
• Assist with related special projects as assigned.
