About The Position

The Repacker supports efforts to reduce inventory shrink and improve warehouse organization. The role evaluates damaged product for disposition, repacks saleable items, records required information for repackaged and dumped product, and helps track dated products to minimize losses. The position is based in Boca Raton, Florida, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The employee must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Dependability.
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of foodservice products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged product and determine its disposition, including repacking for sale, salvage, or disposal.
• Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
• Record required information, such as lot number and date, on repackaged product for sale or salvage.
• Properly record all dumped product.
• Assist with tracking dated products to minimize product loss due to date issues.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
