About The Position

The Repacker assists with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization. The role evaluates damaged products and determines whether they should be repacked for sale, salvaged, or discarded. It records required information for repackaged and dumped products and helps track dated products to minimize losses. The position is based in Boca Raton, Florida, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday work is also required on a rotational basis. The expected base pay range is $22.42 to $26.54 per hour, with overtime compensation potentially available. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Dependability.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience is preferred.
Knowledge of foodservice products and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged products and determine whether to repack them for sale, salvage them, or discard them.
Repack damaged products determined to be saleable.
Record the required information on repackaged products, including lot number and date, whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all discarded product.
Assist with tracking dated products to minimize losses caused by date issues.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
