About The Position

The Repacker helps reduce inventory shrink and improve warehouse organization by evaluating damaged products and determining whether they should be repacked for sale, salvaged, or discarded. The role records required information for repackaged, salvaged, and dumped products, helps track dated products to minimize losses, and maintains a clean, organized work area. Other duties may be assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; schedules may vary and may include occasional weekends. The position works in a multi-temperature environment and requires prolonged standing and lifting up to 80 pounds. The expected base rate is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience, education, skills, function, location, and other applicable factors. Overtime compensation may also apply.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Dependability.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged products and determine whether to repack them for sale, salvage them, or discard them.
Repack damaged products that are determined to be saleable.
Record required information, such as lot number and date, for repackaged products, whether intended for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped products.
Help track dated products to minimize losses caused by date issues.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
