About The Position

ViaQuest Residential Services provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The Program Manager oversees services and supports for individuals in Summit/Portage County, with a focus on quality services, community engagement, effective behavior supports, and coordination among the individuals’ service teams. The role supervises Direct Support Professionals, monitors staffing coverage, and provides customer service to individuals served, their families or guardians, county boards, and service-team members. On-call availability is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Strong decision-making and time-management skills.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals served receive quality services and engage with the community.
• Coordinate and manage services and supports, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, and benefits.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Help develop behavior support strategies, train others in their implementation, and assess their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with members of each individual’s service team to support effective communication and customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure they are thoroughly trained and providing quality services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services and coverage are provided across all shifts.
• Provide customer service to individuals served, families or guardians, county boards, and service-team members.
