About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to people with developmental disabilities and other populations, supported by a multidisciplinary team. The Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist provides therapeutic behavioral services to clients in consultation with a licensed clinician. The role includes planning individualized supports and coordinating health, behavioral health, and other services, as well as offering interventions, treatment options, daily living skills restoration, and crisis prevention. Services may be delivered to individuals or groups. The position is listed at $18.20–$20.90 per hour, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility, and requires travel throughout an assigned service area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma, or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients in consultation with a licensed clinician to assist with individual needs.
• Plan individualized supports or coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
