About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. The Behavioral Support Specialist works with clients and consults with a licensed clinician to address individual needs. The role may provide services to individual clients or groups and includes service planning, coordination, interventions, and crisis prevention. The position is listed at $18.20–$20.90 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma, or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients in consultation with a licensed clinician to assist with individual needs.
• Provide service planning for individualized supports or coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including developing a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.
