About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. Clients are supported by a team that includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist provides therapeutic behavioral services and individualized support to clients, working in consultation with a licensed clinician. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. The hourly pay range is $18.20–$20.90.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, a high school diploma, or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients in consultation with a licensed clinician to support individual needs.
• Plan individualized supports or coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including developing treatment plans.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
