About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. The Behavioral Support Specialist works with a licensed clinician and a multidisciplinary team to support client needs through therapeutic behavioral services, individualized service planning, interventions, treatment options, daily living skills restoration, and crisis prevention. Services may be delivered to individuals or groups. The role requires travel throughout the assigned service area and is listed at $18.20–$20.90 per hour, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, a high school diploma, or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Have related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Be willing to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services in consultation with a licensed clinician to assist with an individual's needs.
• Plan individualized supports or coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
