Developer Advocate

The job overview for this role is that the Developer Advocate will be responsible for establishing and growing a community of digital native customers using DoiT Platform APIs. They will work closely with developers and developer communities to promote DoiT's products and make it easier for users to integrate with them. Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the Developer Advocate will develop deep expertise in DoiT's products and create developer-centric content to help developers maximize the benefits of DoiT's products. They will also build technical demos to showcase the full potential of the product portfolio to the developer community.

Develop deep expertise in DoiT’s products, its APIs and tooling, and especially how they integrate with the world around us

Organize, inspire, and grow a community around our current developer users - establish regular and multi-channel engagements with the community

Engage with and educate developers about the features and benefits of DoiT’s products

Create, update, or help to create developer-centric content, including blogs, videos, technical documentation, tutorials, and presentation material to help developers get the most out of DoiT’s products

Build technical demos using DoiT’s APIs that show our developer community the full potential of the product portfolio

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years as a Developer Advocate or Software Engineer at companies building cloud-native applications
• Experience working with developers and developer communities
• Deep expertise in DoiT's products, APIs, and tooling
• Ability to organize, inspire, and grow a community of developer users
• Knowledge of features and benefits of DoiT's products
• Ability to create developer-centric content such as blogs, videos, technical documentation, tutorials, and presentation material
• Proficiency in building technical demos using DoiT's APIs
• Ability to experiment and explore new integrations with DoiT's product portfolio
• Support and assist active and engaged developer users
• Gather developer feedback and incorporate it into product plans
• Willingness to represent the company and its technology at industry events, meetups, social media, and other forums
• Travel may be required for this role.
