Developer Advocate

The Developer Advocate at DoiT will play a crucial role in the Product team within EMEA. This remote position requires a strong understanding of software development and experience working with developers and developer communities. Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the Developer Advocate will promote DoiT Platform APIs, engage with and educate developers about the benefits of DoiT's products, create developer-centric content, and support active developer users. This role also involves representing the company and its technology at industry events and forums.

• Develop deep expertise in DoiT’s products, APIs, and tooling, and understand how they integrate with the external environment.
• Organize, inspire, and grow a community of developer users by engaging with them through regular and multi-channel interactions.
• Educate developers about the features and benefits of DoiT’s products.
• Create or assist in creating developer-centric content such as blogs, videos, technical documentation, tutorials, and presentations to help developers maximize the use of DoiT’s products.
• Build technical demos using DoiT’s APIs to showcase the full potential of the product portfolio to the developer community.
• Explore and experiment with new integrations that demonstrate innovative ways to leverage DoiT’s product portfolio.
• Provide hands-on support to active and engaged developer users, helping them succeed in utilizing DoiT’s products.
• Gather developer feedback and ensure that DoiT’s product plans align with the needs and preferences of the community.
• Represent the company and its technology at industry events, meetups (both in-person and virtual), relevant social media platforms, and other forums.
• Travel as required for in-person events (at a rate determined together).

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years as a Developer Advocate or Software Engineer at companies building cloud-native applications
• Experience working with developers and developer communities
• Deep expertise in DoiT's products, APIs, and tooling
• Ability to organize, inspire, and grow a community of developer users
• Knowledge of features and benefits of DoiT's products
• Ability to create developer-centric content such as blogs, videos, technical documentation, tutorials, and presentation material
• Proficiency in building technical demos using DoiT's APIs
• Ability to experiment and explore new integrations with DoiT's product portfolio
• Support and assist active and engaged developer users
• Gather developer feedback and ensure product plans reflect community findings
• Willingness to represent the company and its technology at industry events, meetups, social media, and other forums
• Travel may be required in this role.
