About The Position

This role involves supporting test and validation activities on large mining equipment. The primary focus is on validating the functionality of software and controls features, carrying out requirements, and performing system-level testing. This position requires daily interaction with a variety of teams including engineers, mechanics, instrumentation technicians, operators, supply chain, and logistics personnel.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• B.S. engineering degree
• Away from the desk most of the time
• Hands on equipment
• Out around the equipment; heavy equipment
• Planning, executing, data acquisition work, documentation
• General contractor project management role
• Work with Team leaders to direct day to day workers
• Hands on experience – construction job, mechanical assignment, cars
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.
• Validate the functionality of software and controls features.
• Carry out requirements.
• Perform system level testing.
• Work with mechanics, instrumentation technicians and operators.
• Plan, execute, and document machine level software testing.
• Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.
• Be on your feet 80% of the time either in the shop or local field.
