About The Position

Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer. Your solutions will impact our customers directly. You will be involved in migration projects and rapid prototyping and productionization. The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.

Requirements

• A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Responsibilities

• Developing monitoring solutions
• Troubleshooting/debugging and implementing fixes for internally developed code (Java, React, TypeScript, Python)
• Performing database queries
• Improving systems that gather metrics on features
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges
• Working alongside development on Client Corporate and Divisional Software projects
• Updating/enhancing current software
• Automation of support processes
• Documentation of systems
