The Opportunity: We’re looking for a talented S ysOps Engineer to join our team and help us architect and build and maintain security and compliance solutions for the AWS cloud in our Mountain View Office (hybrid) but are open to remote for the right candidate. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-based solutions and will need to be proficient in infrastructure and platform design and management as well as application deployment automation. You will be working with Docker and other container technologies.

Requirements

Experience architecting and operating systems built with Amazon Web Services
At least 4 years of experience in cloud technologies
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
AWS Certified SysOps Professional is recommended.
Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, SNS, Lambda
Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts
Expertise in leveraging Automation / sysops principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment

Responsibilities

A hands-on role in architecture, design, development, and ongoing support of business applications and cloud infrastructure on AWS
Strong experience in Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes configuration
Good knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Terraform, etc)
Experience with Helm Charts
Experience with Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/Gitlab, Jenkins/Travis.
