About The Position

As a Detention Security Officer in Columbia, South Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while responding professionally to site needs. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 5:45 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.95 per hour. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
