At PNC, employees work together to provide customers with a strong experience in an inclusive workplace. The Detection and Investigation Associate works within PNC’s AML organization and is based in Pennsylvania, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, or Texas. This is a remote role requiring residence within one hour of a designated hub. Remote work is subject to approval, must be conducted from a quiet, secure, confidential home workspace, and may involve occasional in-office participation based on business needs. The position is not available in all geographic areas. PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this role. The role investigates and mitigates suspicious bank activity and helps control and prevent losses related to fraud, anti-money laundering, and organizational risk. It supports development and implementation of internal controls based on root causes, identifies control gaps and enhancements, works with internal and external stakeholders on fraudulent or illegal activity, determines whether investigated activity is reportable or requires escalation, and maintains investigation documentation. Candidates typically have a university or college degree and at least two years of relevant professional experience. A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree. A bachelor's degree is listed under education; no certification or license is required. The role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
