About The Position
Teph Seal Auto Appearance is hiring for flat-rate detail shop positions, including Detail Specialist 1 for candidates with some experience and Detail Specialist 2 for candidates with two or more years of experience. Detailers maintain store facilities and provide high-quality service, helping ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and products, courteous service, and timely responses to inquiries or complaints. The work includes driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles. The role requires careful handling of customers’ vehicles, attention to detail, teamwork, and a sense of urgency. Employees must follow uniform and grooming standards. Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect.
- Willingness to arrive on time and stay on task during the shift.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
- Availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as needed to meet production needs.
- Successful completion of drug and background screening is required for employment.
- Detail Specialist 1: some experience.
- Detail Specialist 2: two or more years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solutions.
- Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines as needed.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean upholstery and surfaces.
- Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to protect against spots and stains.
- Use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle leather or fabric as required.
- Clean grease from engines or engine compartments as required.
- Drive, detail, and clean vehicles, including moving numerous vehicles during the workday.
- Maintain store facilities to support high-quality service.
- Provide courteous customer service and respond to customer inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
- Inspect the quality of personal work and that of other team members, identifying small imperfections.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management to meet operational needs.
- Follow uniform and grooming standards and work with urgency to respect customers’ time.
