Detail Specialist
About The Position
The Detail Specialist cleans and details U-Haul trucks and trailers to keep the fleet in top condition for customers. The position works in a detailing bay and production line, using U-Haul’s proprietary technology and company-provided tools and safety equipment to care for field vehicles. Damaged equipment being removed from the fleet is prepared for sale, including decal removal. U-Haul provides on-the-job training and opportunities to develop through its Technician Training Program, including classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. The role is located at 120 James Aldredge Blvd, Atlanta, Georgia 30336. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
- Regular attendance.
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare that equipment for sale.
- Use industry-standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line.
- Provide assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
