Detail Specialist
About The Position
U-Haul is hiring a Detail Specialist to clean and detail its truck and trailer fleet, helping keep equipment in top condition for customers. The role works in detailing bays and a production-line environment, using U-Haul proprietary technology and company-provided tools. It offers on-the-job learning and opportunities to grow into other positions within the company, including participation in a Technician Training Program with classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The position is located at 7810 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, Florida 32822. U-Haul states that it does not hire or re-hire nicotine product users in Florida and certain other states.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
- Regular attendance.
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare that equipment for sale.
- Use industry-standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production-line environment.
- Provide assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
