About The Position
True Adventure Travel is seeking a remote Destination Specialist to design and organize customized travel itineraries. The specialist works with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and special requirements, then uses destination knowledge and research to prepare personalized travel plans. The role includes providing customer service before, during, and after trips, keeping current with travel trends and regulations, collaborating with team members to improve services, and addressing issues or emergencies during clients’ trips.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and special requests or requirements.
- Research destinations, transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Create detailed, personalized itineraries that may include flights, transfers, accommodations, activities, and other arrangements.
- Provide customer service before, during, and after clients’ trips.
- Stay up to date on travel trends, popular destinations, and changes in travel regulations or requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve services and offerings.
- Handle issues or emergencies that arise during a client’s trip.
