About The Position
Development of the physical characteristics of drawing and of diverse drawing practices, through the use of various materials, tools and processes, including non-traditional drawing materials and mixed media. Introduction to various supports, grounds, mediums and techniques related to mark-making and image. This course will be offered in-person.
Requirements
- Master of Fine Arts or equivalent.
- Established reputation and exhibition record in painting, drawing, and contemporary art.
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
- Ensure ALL prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in the curriculum vitae.
- Provide a visual record of recent works.
Responsibilities
- Develop the physical characteristics of drawing.
- Teach diverse drawing practices.
- Instruct students on the use of various materials, tools, and processes, including non-traditional drawing materials and mixed media.
- Introduce students to various supports, grounds, mediums, and techniques related to mark-making and image creation.
