About The Position
This course is an in-depth exploration of the moving image in an art context. Primarily centred on video, students will learn advanced techniques in shooting, lighting, sound recording, editing, colourization, sound mixing and more while developing individual artistic projects, while also grounding their artistic work in the greater context of art and the moving image. Applicants are reminded of the importance of ensuring that ALL prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in the curriculum vitae. Applicants are asked to provide a visual record of recent works. These documents can be sent electronically to [email protected]. Electronic file sharing links are also accepted. This course will be offered in-person.
Requirements
- Master of Fine Arts or equivalent.
- Established reputation and exhibition record in interdisciplinary and media art.
- Teaching experience at post-secondary level.
- Competence in a second language (English/French).
