About The Position

Maintain a secure endpoint environment and provide "Level 2" desktop, mobile, and peripheral equipment support for assigned technologies within the Manitoba health system enterprise architecture.

Requirements

3 years of experience working in enterprise information technology providing desktop support with a focus on one or more of the following: Desktop and mobile hardware; Equipment support of peripheral devices; Endpoint management utilities, practices, and client operating system features; Operating hardware tools, components, field-replaceable units and peripheral accessories; Providing onsite support confidential environment.
A post-secondary diploma in an information technology related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated staff leadership capabilities.
Must be able to work safely in a computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle for regular travel within the province.
A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
