This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position assigned to a Second Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. The role involves providing expert IT support to Labcorp's Specialty Lab Division, specifically the Esoterix business unit. This position is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, and software, and requires a solid grasp of IT infrastructure, creative problem-solving, and excellent support skills for both local and remote colleagues. The role also includes participation in IT projects and collaboration with cross-functional IT teams, as well as providing assistance to other IT departments when needed.
