About The Position

In this role you will be: Responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of any desktop device including hardware, software, and operating systems. Installing or overseeing the installation of all software housed on any desktop device. Monitoring our desktop devices, collecting and analyzing usage statistics, and producing reports reflecting the usage and stability of our desktop devices. Researching, purchasing, and implementing software/hardware to produce reports. Researching, evaluating, and recommending desktop hardware and software. Responsible for maintaining all necessary desktop security. Maintaining/supporting all appropriate user access and security at the desktop level. Building and maintaining updated desktop procedure documentation for use by all IS support personnel. Maintaining skills at an adequate level to provide support for other technical areas including OS/server and network technicians. Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in determining desktop device-related problems. Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills. Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics, computer science, or a related computer degree/equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop devices.
  • 4 years experience in a desktop device support position.
  • Valid PA driver’s license.
