About The Position

Stefanini is a global provider of IT services, including application development, outsourcing, IT infrastructure support, systems integration, consulting, and staffing. The company has over 25,000 employees across 77 offices in 40 countries. The Deskside Technician I provides onsite client support for hardware and software, including break/fix services, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. The role supports end-user systems, printers and other peripherals, network connectivity, phones and mobile devices, and audio/video equipment. The work involves semi-routine assignments that may occasionally require deviation from accepted practices. Attendance and schedule adherence are required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of corporate deskside support experience, with strong emphasis on Windows 7 and Windows 10.
Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on Lenovo PCs.
Experience using Active Directory.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Office 2016, including MS Lync, Microsoft Outlook Web Application (OWA), and the Outlook 2016 client.
Quality customer service skills.
VPN experience.
Experience with basic hardware printer support.
Experience with Symantec products, including Endpoint Protection, BitLocker, SCCM, and RDP.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite hardware and software support, including break/fix services.
Implement virus detection and eradication procedures.
Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions.
Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement repair solutions.
Troubleshoot network devices to ensure connectivity from PCs to the network.
Install and upgrade hardware and software.
Configure and troubleshoot phones, mobile devices, tablets, and PDAs.
Set up and troubleshoot audio/video equipment, including projectors and video conference equipment.
Adhere to attendance and schedule requirements.
