About The Position

PurposeBuilt Brands is seeking a motivated Designer to join HomeShine Studios, its internal creative agency, which creates communications for the company’s consumer and commercial brands. The Designer will develop creative solutions that visualize product benefits for static and video content. The role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work in Gurnee, Illinois, to create packaging mockups and review proofs, for a maximum of two days per week onsite.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in art direction or design.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
A creative portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including video content made with original captured footage.
Proven experience as a Designer, preferably in consumer packaged goods or a related industry.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Figma and Sketch.
Knowledge of digital best practices and trends.
Strong creative and storytelling abilities, with attention to detail and design aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

Execute digital content, including e-commerce graphics, display ads, email, social posts, websites, and static and animated assets.
Conceptualize, design, and execute product demonstration content that highlights unique product benefit visualizations.
Maintain strong attention to detail and uphold high standards of quality.
Develop storyboards for video content and animated graphics.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop designs that communicate brand messages and product features effectively.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies, including AI, to improve creative content.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining creativity and production quality.
Ensure brand consistency and follow brand guidelines across deliverables.
Attend and support live production shoots as required.
