Designer, UX - Mobile Apps
About The Position
SharkNinja is hiring a UX Designer to join a multidisciplinary team creating connected app experiences for Shark and Ninja hardware products. The designer will contribute across the full design cycle, from concept through shipping, working with industrial design, CMF, software, and product teams to deliver mobile experiences for iOS and Android users. The role is based in Needham, Massachusetts, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days onsite. The work includes defining app experiences for next-generation hardware, translating consumer insights and research into intuitive interfaces, prototyping and refining designs, and contributing to the SharkNinja UX design system. The designer partners with engineering in sprint-based cycles to ensure the designs are implemented with integrity.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of UX design experience for iOS and/or Android; strong co-op candidates or candidates with 1+ year of experience are also considered.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong mobile UX thinking is required.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sharp attention to detail, fast execution, and a collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in UX/UI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Define connected app experiences for next-generation Shark and Ninja hardware products.
- Turn consumer insights and research into intuitive, polished mobile interfaces.
- Build interactive prototypes to test, learn, and refine designs quickly.
- Contribute to and apply the SharkNinja UX design system, including UI elements, typography, color, and accessibility.
- Partner closely with engineering in sprint-based cycles to ensure designs ship with integrity.
- Collaborate with industrial design, CMF, software, and product teams across the design cycle, from concept through shipping.
