About The Position

Persimmons is hiring a new graduate Design Verification Engineer to run and improve tools that check RTL designs against physical implementation. The role focuses on identifying discrepancies early, applying AI-powered tools to accelerate error detection and root-cause analysis, and helping design teams proceed with confidence. The engineer will work with senior RTL and physical design engineers to understand correctness criteria for each block, investigate unfamiliar problems using documentation, team knowledge, and AI tooling, and develop lightweight scripts and automations to improve design checks. The role may grow to include broader RTL and verification responsibilities as the hire gains fluency with the toolchain and design flow.
