About The Position

ROWE Professional Services Company is seeking Design Graduate Engineers to join their proactive team in Grand Rapids, MI. This position will play a significant role in growing the Design services team. Graduate Engineers will work under the supervision of a Project Manager and will be responsible for performing design tasks, preparing design reports, computing engineering design calculations, performing field reviews, and providing on-site inspections as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil and/or environmental engineering.
• Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.
• Ability to work remote and in person effectively.

Nice To Haves

• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks such as conceptual layouts, grading and drainage, and prepare design reports for projects.
• Compute engineering design calculations.
• Perform field reviews to determine existing conditions.
• Provide on-site inspections as needed.
