About The Position

Closet Factory Houston is seeking a Design Consultant to provide custom storage solutions in clients' homes. The role involves diagnosing client needs, designing personalized built-in solutions using specialized software, and presenting these designs to homeowners. The goal is to create permanent, custom storage solutions that improve the client's daily life and home environment. This is a consultative, personal, and impactful role.

Requirements

• At least two years of sales experience in a consultative or relationship-driven environment.
• Ability to ask good questions and listen effectively.
• Comfort with silence while clients are thinking.
• Ability to run a process, not just rely on personality.
• Value your own time and make each appointment count.
• Proven closing experience.
• Must have a Windows laptop.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Availability for appointments some evenings and Saturdays.
• Must be located in Houston.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in design, home improvement, interior design, kitchen and bath, furniture, or real estate.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose client needs and understand their specific storage problems.
