Design Assistant, Wholesale Apparel
About The Position
The Kasper Group is seeking a Design Assistant to support its apparel design team in seasonal development and day-to-day design operations. The role includes creating flat sketches under the direction of the design team, preparing presentation boards and CAD updates, tracking and organizing samples, and helping prepare the showroom. The Design Assistant will also maintain design trackers, development charts, fabric and trim libraries, swatch cards, and color organization; support proto tracking and sample room coordination; conduct basic trend and competitive research; and assist with administrative design tasks as needed. Applicants are asked to submit a resume along with CADs and sample tech packs. The stated salary range is $55,000–$60,000, with the actual base salary depending on experience, qualifications, and/or assigned unit. Requirements
- Illustrator proficiency required.
