About The Position

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least two years of dermatology experience to join its established, busy Rockville, Maryland office. The practice provides specialized dermatology services and has served patients for more than 50 years. The position is full-time, 32–40 hours per week, with a salary of $125,000 or more. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere, following medical protocols and documentation standards, and educating patients about services and products appropriate to their needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the support team and contribute to a busy clinical environment.

Requirements

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
At least two years of experience in dermatology.
State licensure.
Knowledge of clinical dermatology services and treatments.
Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized and efficient, with the ability to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of patient service and care.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies.

Review new client intake forms and document client treatments and plans of care.
Build patient partnerships by matching patient needs to appropriate services and products and educating patients about their benefits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
