About The Position

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least two years of dermatology experience to join its Rockville, Maryland office. The role offers the opportunity to work in an established, busy practice with a support team focused on providing quality care to the local community. The practice has served patients for more than 50 years and provides specialized dermatology services. This full-time position is scheduled for 32–40 hours per week. The stated salary is $125,000 or more.

Requirements

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
At least two years of experience in dermatology.
State licensure.
Knowledge of clinical dermatology services and treatments.
Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized and efficient, with the ability to work in a busy environment.
Team oriented.
Operates transparently and with integrity.
Willingness to succeed and grow individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care provided to patients.
Maintain thorough working knowledge of medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies.
Follow standards and protocols for documenting medical services performed.
Review new client intake forms and document treatments and plans of care.
Build patient partnerships by matching patient needs to available services and products and educating patients on how to benefit from them.
Perform other duties as assigned.
