About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated, skilled Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider to join its growing practice in Gilroy, California. The role provides general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology care to patients of all ages. The group offers extensive cosmetics training for providers who are interested. The position calls for a professional with dermatology experience and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• One to two years of professional dermatology experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology care to patients of all ages.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of patient service and care.
• Examine and diagnose patients, and inform them about appropriate dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
