About The Position
Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider with at least one year of experience to join its growing team. The provider will deliver high-quality dermatology care and may provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care to patients of all ages. Extensive cosmetic training is available for providers who are interested. The role involves examining and diagnosing patients, informing them about treatment options, monitoring treatment progress, and prescribing medication. The provider is also expected to help maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of patient service and care, and to apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
- Master’s degree from an accredited program.
- 1–2 years of professional dermatology experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetic training is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care to patients of all ages.
- Examine and diagnose patients and inform them about dermatological treatments.
- Monitor and report on treatment progress.
- Prescribe medication.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients.
- Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
