About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider with at least one year of experience to join its growing team. The provider will deliver high-quality dermatology care and may provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic services to patients of all ages. Extensive cosmetic training is available for providers who are interested.

The role includes examining and diagnosing patients, explaining treatment options, monitoring progress, and prescribing medication. The provider is also expected to support a professional, welcoming atmosphere and apply HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of professional dermatology experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in cosmetic dermatology; the group offers extensive cosmetics training.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care to patients of all ages.
• Examine and diagnose patients and inform them about dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of patient service and care.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
