About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider to join its growing team. The role provides general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology care to patients of all ages. Extensive cosmetic training is available for providers who are interested. The provider examines and diagnoses patients, explains and determines treatments, monitors and reports treatment progress, and prescribes medication. The position also supports a professional, welcoming atmosphere and requires working knowledge and application of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• One to two years of dermatology professional experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetic training is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care to patients of all ages.
• Examine and diagnose patients and inform them about dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
