About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider with at least one year of experience to join its growing team. The role provides dermatological care to patients of all ages, including general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care. Extensive cosmetics training is available for providers who are interested. The provider helps create a professional, welcoming atmosphere and delivers high-quality patient care.

The position is based in Smithtown, New York. Compensation is listed at $125,000–$150,000+, with eligibility for signing and relocation bonuses. Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of professional dermatology experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetics training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatological care to patients of all ages.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to patients.
• Examine and diagnose patients, and inform them about dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
