About The Position
Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider to join its growing team. The provider will deliver high-quality dermatological care to patients of all ages, including general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care. Training in cosmetic services is available for interested providers. The role also involves creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere and helping ensure high-quality patient service and care.
Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
- Master’s degree from an accredited program.
- 1–2 years of dermatology professional experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetics training is offered.
Responsibilities
- Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatological care to patients of all ages.
- Examine and diagnose patients, explain findings, and determine appropriate dermatological treatments.
- Monitor and report on patients’ treatment progress.
- Prescribe medication.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and patient care.
- Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
